At TRM, we have the joy of hearing stories of gratitude every day. We get to see the relief, the happiness, and the tears on the faces of our guests and those in need in our community as they learn - often for the first time - that they matter, they are valued, and they are loved. Their stories empower and embolden us as we continue to do the hard work to make changes in the lives of those in need.
But the reality is we could not do any of what we do without you, the ones who faithfully give of your time, prayers and resources, who come alongside us and offer support and encouragement when we need it most. You inspire us to keep going and let us know every day that we are not alone in this work!
In this unprecedented time during a year where no one has been spared from hardship and loss, from the loss of jobs and housing to the loss of friends and family, we recognize that you are still with us, despite the personal challenges you too have faced. You have showed us over and again that you care for those who have suffered, who have lost everything in their lives, who have faced hunger, homelessness and poverty. You have stood there with us as we continue to care for the most vulnerable, in a time when many of us are more vulnerable than ever before.
In this season of thanksgiving we want to thank each of you for everything you have so faithfully done this past year to support TRM. Volunteering, praying, donating - YOU are the reason we get to be a beacon of hope in the lives of those in need!
As Paul said in Phillippians 1:3, "I thank my God every time I remember you", we also thank God when we think of each of you. You have faithfully supported us in meeting the needs and bringing the hope of the good news of Jesus Christ to those who suffer. This Thanksgiving, we pray that you are blessed just as you have blessed us and all those we have served this year. THANK YOU for being a vital part of the TRM family!
