The Topeka Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry dedicated to providing food, shelter, clothing, training, and hope to homeless and impoverished men, women, and children.

Our facility is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At the Topeka Rescue Mission no one is ever turned away because of race, national origin, religion, sex, or age.

Stats

• In 2007, we served 198,724 meals from our kitchen at the Topeka Rescue Mission and an additional 317,940 meals to hungry individuals throughout Topeka, resulting in a total of 516,664 meals provided in 2007.
• We sheltered 1,887 different individuals, including 970 men, 566 women, and 351 children, for a total of 64,954 nights. The average stay was 178 individuals per night..
• In our clothing bank, we gave 45,760 articles of clothing to 2,288 different people, and in our clinic, treated 880 people. We purchased 4,430 bus tickets, and provided eye glasses for 52 people.
